Like a lot of things, dining in Myrtle Beach is hit or miss. We're usually reluctant to try small no-name places but we were glad we did in this case. The restaurant is clean, which is a huge plus in my book. Portions were generous, and the staff was more than accommodating. Anyone who brings me a whole pitcher of sweet tea is my best friend. This was my second year visiting the restaurant, and my fourth visit in total. My choice? The Waffle Special: A large Belgian waffle with cinnamon-honey butter, a side of bacon and two eggs. I opted for a side of hash browns, as well. The waffles are excellent and crisp, not soggy as at some restaurants. The chocolate chip pancakes were slightly above average: good, but almost fried, which is not my preferred pancake preparation. The delicious butter- they wouldn't share the recipe, but it's homemade, and definitely satisfying-- deserves special mention. It brings everything together. The interior decor is expressive: a Mediterranean (read: Greek) mural sets the scene, flanking the rear walls. There are obvious hints everywhere that this was a Christian establishment, which I had mixed feeling about; but they were unobtrusive. The restrooms were exceptionally clean and even well decorated. The older, matronly waitress whose name escapes me is simply super: "Bacon, uh-huh. Did y'all want that crispeh, or regulah?" Southern charm at it's finest. I have not one complaint about the meal, the service, the level of cleanliness or about the staff. We will be back as long as they live up to these first two years. A final note: this pertains to the Omega Pancake House in Surfside, not the one in Myrtle Beach proper. I've not visited that one and while it's owned by the same family, I'm not sure the experience would be as good. This restaurant serves breakfast and lunch only and if you arrive on a weekend, expect a full parking lot and about a 10 minute wait.

There are many breakfast places in Surfside Beach and they are all about the same in my opinion. It is called a Pancake House for a reason, so ordering the pancakes is always a safe bet. They are huge so there is more than enough to share. The pecan pancakes are especially good because the pecans are mixed inside instead of just being on top. The cinnamon butter is a nice addition, but it makes it almost too sweet for me when the syrup gets added. They also have really good cheeseburgers; not overcooked, lots of cheese and toppings are fresh. I liked the fries better when they served crinkle fries but they are still crispy. The Greek Patty Melt is also yummy. It is very cheesy and the tzatziki sauce is good. Don't expect much for decor or cleanliness. The syrup dispensers are sticky and I think there are only 5 bottles of ketchup for the whole place, so they will pick it up from another table when you ask for it. But the waitresses are always nice and the food comes out quick...which says a lot when they get packed during breakfast time.

We brought our softball team here after a game. They were able to seat 25 people pretty quickly despite the restaurant being decently busy. Overall the place is cute and the staff is nice. Or did came or fairly quickly (especially for the size of our group). Don't get the Eggs Benedict. The Hollandaise sauce is terrible. Breakfast burrito was just okay. Those that got pancakes were pleased (and of course commented "who comes to a pancake place and orders anything other than pancakes?"). Overall 3 stars.

Awesome breakfast here on our drive from Myrtle Beach down to Huntington Beach State Park. Our waitress was so nice! Food was great and portions large and not very expensive. This was the one bright spot among all the crappy restaurants we ate at in Myrtle Beach. Definitely not a foodie town.

Fabulous find! My favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach so far. Food was amazing, service was outstanding. Employees were very friendly.

Good but standard diner fare. Our family of 6 had breakfast there on a Monday morning and the wait staff was excellent - started us with coffee and water then stopped by the table in 5 minute intervals to see if we were ready to order. After about 10 minutes, we were ready. We ordered a variety of breakfast items ... the pancakes were good as was the french toast. The bacon was a little bit over cooked and was probably in a warmer since it came out warm but not hot. Their butter is mixed with sugar and cinnamon which borders on too sweet - but is on the side. The pork sausage patties were a highlight - perfectly cooked and seasoned. The hash browns were also perfectly cooked - crispy, well seasoned and hot. The turkey sausage didn't have a lot of flavor and was a little dry. Service was excellent, food was standard diner fare and price was slightly on the higher end for diner fare - but not outrageous.

Excellent place for breakfast. The other omega pancake houses in Myrtle Beach don't do anything for me this one the food and service was always perfect.

When we stay at Ocean Lakes, Omega is always on the list for breakfast! The omega special, ($5.95) 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and choice of 2 sausage patties OR bacon strips is my favorite! Staff is friendly and efficient! As long as I will come to the beach, Omega will be my breakfast place!

My favorite breakfast place in Myrtle Beach!! We have a beach house in Ocean Lakes and love driving the golf cart down to Omega for breakfast. Haven't tried to lunch yet because I am so full from breakfast I don't think about lunch. Wait staff are very friendly and attentive. Sometimes there is a wait but it is well worth it.

We did not like it. It hard to mess up a pancake but I didn't think it was good at all.

We had breakfast here every morning of our 4 day stay at Myrtle Beach Resort in Surfside. The best thing by far on the menu is the pecan pancakes. Served with pecans mixed in and topping the pancakes and their delicious cinnamon butter, these were the highlight of my morning. The staff is very friendly and accommodating even when the restaurant gets busy (usually after 9am). Only downside was that my girlfriend's order was messed up one day (but it was fixed very quickly) and that the kitchen gets easily backed up when they are busy.

Out of the hundreds of breakfast spots it is hard to choose. This place is decent. Service was good. I know it's just brekfast so I will not make a big deal. You will be full hen you leave. Only pet peeve is that the charge you for refills on juice.

I love breakfast and often have breakfast for lunch. This was the case today when we stopped at the Omega Pancake House. I had a simple meal of pancakes and eggs and found them to be as good as you would expect at most breakfast places. However, our waitress (Donna F.) was exceptional. Not only was she very attentive but she had obvious pride in their business and made sure that we were welcome. She's what I would call "old-school" and I can't get enough of that these days. Thanks Donna F. - if I lived here I would frequent this business.

Food was delicious & the service the epitome of Southern Hospitality. Missi was a sweetheart although I wish she had advised me to only have 2 pumpkin pancakes; I couldn't finish 3! They are fluffy, perfectly spiced, and served with homemade cinnamon butter. Just amazing! Add this to the list of "musts" when you're in Myrtle Beach!

Great service and food. Cinnamon Raisin French Toast shown. I heard that they had the best French Toast and they do. Love the cinnamon butter too.

Clean clean! Even the restrooms. The staff is fantastic and made us feel right at home. I spilled a water and they came running. Food was great except for the hash browns. My husband is a cream snob so if you ask for real milk they will bring it. We will be back.

This is the best breakfast....period! Ask for Donna, she will take care of you. The butter is sooooo good. Fresh, local, better than home. Never had a bad meal...ever! Did I mention the butter?

Service was excellent, friendly and true southern hospitality. Food was ok. I had steak and eggs and very salty. Bread delivered was dry and stale.

Oh my!!!! It starts right when you walk in the door, everyone is so nice and friendly! Our waitress Gail, is just about the sweetest nicest and most attentive person we have ever encountered!!! Gail if you are reading this you are amazing! The food is greatness!!!! I had the French toast with strawberries, mouth watering! I definitely say you should pass by if you are around the neighborhood!

Delicious, huge portions. A +++. Biggest breakfast menu that I've seen. Great little diner!

This place is a poor choice for breakfast in Myrtle Beach. The food is VERY poor quality and not cooked well, either. The eggs were obviously of poor quality and their hollondaise sauce that topped their eggs benedict was hideous. The only way to explain the hollondaise is that it had an unnatural thick consistency with a very fake, non-appetizing flavor. My fork could stand up in it. The service was extremely slow and unaccomodating. The decor was extremely outdated and the seats were uncomortable. Needless to say, we left hungry. Couldn't stand to suffer through this sub-par food.

I don't know if they were having an off day but we had to wait 1 hr for our food and the omelet was small and runny. The pancakes were extremely dry. The only good I could say about that place is the waitress was extremely nice.

My favourite stop in MB! Our breakfast (2 adults and3 kids) was very reasonably priced, the portions were generous, the food was delicious (perfectly cooked bacon!), and our waitress was The Best. We will always return!

Great service! The place was packed, but we were treated like we were the only ones there.
